While still in the process of building the Daylight, I took a break from that project and spent the next few months on the weekends building an all steel switcher. I built an all wood switcher years ago and it runs real well. Thought I'd try designing and building an all steel switcher this time. Started by first deciding what the proportions would be and what drive train would be use. CAD drawings were made and construction began.
