Now that the Daylight is running, a whistle became a priority. The decision was made to buy a whistle instead of make one. I wanted to spend more time finishing up the Daylight and less on building a whistle (especially for the first time). Rizzoli Locomotive Works built the whistle with an A-C-E tone, similar to the original Daylight's. Wonderful craftsmanship and sound.
It was installed under the right side running boards.
